Para-Viper       

Description For some reason, Cobra never had a paratrooper--or at least one I was aware of. G.I. Joe, on the other hand, had a long line of airborne infantry and/or paratrooper guys, from Rip Cord to Airborn to Crazy Legs to Freefall. Howver, the only time Cobra guys used parachutes is on the cartoon when their planes got shot down. Hasbro never made a Cobra paratrooper, which was one reason why I wanted to make one. That, and the fact that putting a Viper head on Crazy Legs looks awesome. I'm suprised someone at Hasbro never came to this conclusion--the whole line of G.I. Joe Sky Patrol characters were nothing more than repainted Cobra dudes with new heads. So, doing just the opposite doesn't seem too far off base. Overall, this figure rocks. The Viper head works well with the Crazy Legs body, and the colors look great, especially that blue-gray.
